🐮 Fair Weather Farms FAQs

 

We’re so excited to have you at the farm! A few quick things to know before you arrive will help keep you, our animals, and our other guests happy and safe.

 

📍 Where are you located?

1005 Land of Promise Road, Chesapeake, VA 23322

Look for the Big White House with a U shaped driveway! Please check out our driveway photos before you come so you know where you're going.

 

⏰ When should I arrive?

Please arrive 10 minutes before your session — not earlier!

Parking is limited, so hang tight in your car until your photographer or Fair Weather Farms tells you it’s time to go.

 

📸 Do I need a photographer?

Nope! Book your spot, bring your phone, your besties, and get ready to have some fun.

 

⏱️ Can I book a mini session?

Absolutely! We ask that you keep mini sessions to 15–20 minutes and not book 10 min slots. Parking becomes an issue.

 

🚗 Where do I park?

We have parking in the back lot, plus a few spots up front for guests booked at the Main House or Bamp’s Corner.

 

🐕 Can I bring my dog?

No doggos, please! 🐶

We love them, but our chickens and other farm friends aren't quite as enthusiastic.

Cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, and other gentle animals are welcome.

 

🐮 Can my kids pet the animals?

Of course! That's part of the fun!

Just remember: slow, gentle, and no chasing. Please don't let little ones corner, grab, scare, or chase the animals.

And heads up — the electric fence is ON! ⚡ So please keep hands, feet, and curious kiddos away from the fences.

 

🥕 Can I feed the animals?

Only if we say it's okay!

Please don't bring treats or surprise snacks unless they've been approved by Fair Weather Farms or your photographer.

 

🚻 Is there a bathroom?

Not yet! 😅

Please use the restroom before you arrive. We currently don't have guest restroom facilities.

 

👀 What if I see something unsafe?

Tell us!

If something looks unsafe, an animal is acting strangely, or you have a concern, let your photographer or a Fair Weather Farms representative know right away.

 

✍️ Do I need to sign a waiver?

Yep!

Anyone participating in animal activities needs to complete our Waiver. It will be included in your confirmation email. Photographers share the waiver link with their clients.

 

⭐ What's the golden rule?

Have fun, follow directions, respect the animals, and leave them happier than you found them!

We want you to get the cutest photos possible without anyone—including the cows—having a bad day. 🐮📸
